Q:

Which was your favorite and why?

A:

How do I answer this one?? I liked so many of them! That's like asking a parent which kid is there favorite.

Q:

My youngest is my favorite. My oldest is my least favorite.

It's easy.

A:

Hehehe

Q:

What are your reasons for picking South Sudan as your favourite?

A:

South Sudan is unique and different - which I love finding countries that have something unusual about them. No photos are allowed in their entire country. All foreigners are afraid to walk on the streets, but I didn't care and it was great - so many locals came and talked to me. To quote Eminem "Y'all act like you never seen a white person before". Their TV just shows good things about their president...

Q:

Why no photos?

A:

ask their government

Q:

What countries were the most difficult to travel to?

Q:

You mentioned being put in jail in Burundi and Israel, did you have any trouble in N Korea?

A:

Nope... North Korea was one of the best tour I ever did. They worked hard and were super organized. I wish all tour agencies were like that! I went on my own without a big group so that may have helped me.

Q:

Which people were the most welcoming and hospitable?

A:

Iran

Q:

What are some places you were glad to get out of? I imagine there must be a lot of war torn countries and generally unpleasant places that you've seen.

A:

I was put in jail in Burundi - so that was nice to leave...

Q:

What for exactly? I live there!

A:

Because I was using couchsurfing.com

They could not understand why a white guy would be in a poor african village and not in a fancy hotel. They assumed I was doing drugs or something bad...

Q:

How was Taiwan?

A:

Amazing!! Everyone was so nice and the entire country has so many great sites. I studied there for an entire semester when in undergrad!

Q:

Which country really has the best beaches?

A:

I eventually got in on my 3rd try

Q:

Is there proof it’s you in the article?

A:

Please understand this my first time ever posting! Okay... so just look up my Instagram! @wandering_dentist It has a pic of every country I visited!!

Q:

Where will you go next?

A:

I want to see more of Europe and South America...

If you see from my map of places been - my South America isn't that great: https://drive.google.com/open?id=13BtlUjX42Irls1iGDZSTSl25YVY&usp=sharing

Q:

Hi! Was travelling in the middle east dangerous/difficult? Have you collected something from every country?

A:

Middle east wasn't nearly as dangerous as I expected. South and Central America was much more dangerous.

No, I only collected memories and photos

Q:

How was Albania and which country did you like the most down there?

A:

I thought Albania's history was crazy!! I met a guy who never got jeans for like 40 years because it was communist, and if I recall correctly a old lady who got her first banana when she was like 75.

I liked all the balkan countries

Q:

Few questions:

What was your experience in Somalia like? It is one of the few countries that has been on both the US and Canada's travel guides as 'Avoid all travel' for ages.

What is the nicest airline you have ever flown?

What is the nicest hotel you have ever stayed at?

What is the nicest restaurant you have eaten in?

Was there ever a moment in your travels where you saw something that made you profoundly saddened or upset? What was it?

A:

There is a big difference btw somalia and somaliland... which one are you referring to?

Qatar has best customer service. I lost a suitcase at the airport (not even their fault) and they got it back for me

so many times I saw things that made me sad... usually racism. That's why I'm writing a book about my travels.

Q:

Why so little of Canada?

A: 1) I was living in Singapore when I did +95% of my traveling - it's far away 2) It's cold and so packing light is much harder when it's cold which limited the amount of time I could visit there 3) It's so close to the USA, I figured when I moved back to USA it would be easy to visit it a lot more

...

Q:

What countries where your favorite to visit? why?

A:

I can't pick a favorite! That's unfair.

Q:

what part of El Salvador have you been?

A:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=13BtlUjX42Irls1iGDZSTSl25YVY&usp=sharing

This shows you everywhere in the world I went

Q:

Thoughts on Nepal?

A:

Loved it. I really liked the Lumbini where you could see different styles of Buddhist temples from around the world

Q:

How was belgium and which city did you visit ?

A:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=13BtlUjX42Irls1iGDZSTSl25YVY&usp=sharing

This shows you everywhere in the world I went

Q:

Where are you from?

A:

Altoona, wisconsin, USA

Q:

You travel alone?

A:

Yes, I have visited every country solo. I may be the first person ever to do this in the world. I am definitely the youngest to do this.

Q:

Whenever there will officially be a new country, will you go there as soon as I can say "cucumber"?

A:

Chances are I will have already been there. I have been to most disputed countries...

Q:

When did you visit Caracas? What were your impressions?

A:

2-3 years ago. It was sad to see - huge lines for food everywhere. It looked like the old pictures of the great depression in the USA. My friends neighbor was kidnapped while I was there... :(

Q:

What’s the thought on Mongolia? Want to make it a trip fairly soon, did it feel safe?

A:

Yes, definitely safe. I could not believe there were traffic jams. It is the least populated country in the world yet they still don't have enough roads from the few amount of cars they have.

So if you like remote and wilderness - it's great. If you like big cities - then it's not the place.

Q:

How many countries out of 221 have you stayed more than 7 days ?

A:

I don't feel like going through and counting... that would take a long time
