When Paul was kidnapped in summer 1973 the Old Getty refused to pay anything although he had All the money in the World.. I spent the summer 1973 with Paul in Italy when he suddenly disappeared. So AMA!

My Proof: https://www.facebook.com/tobisfilmclub/photos/a.475365049338.253503.149009179338/10156155888544339/?type=3&theater

Q:

What is your current opinion on EA and how do you think you will feel about them later in life?

A:

He left office in 1993 and is still spending.

Holy fucking shit! Was his campaign account THAT massive? Are they allowed to invest those funds and use the capital gains or income from investing?

Thank you Chris and the rest of the team for all of your work on uncovering and reporting on this!

Q:

Me and my husband were the 2017 giftees! It's super fun. Since this has to have a question, have you done a bachelor party yet?

A:

This is really weird to see because my family is from that same Pueblo! I haven’t been back there in awhile but i do love dropping by. Have fun!

How many people still live in the Pueblo? And if you known anybody from the Cata family, tell them Sonny’s grandkid says, hi!

Q:

What questions do you get that irritate you the most?

A:

Have you seen the movie and would you consider it to be pretty accurate? If not, what’s the biggest discrepancies?

Q:

Even though I jokingly shake my fist at their office every time I drive past, I bear no real ill-will towards EA. They're a corporation and corporations do what corporations do. In some ways, I couldn't be doing what I'm doing now if EA didn't buy PopCap. I can be sad that the PvZ franchise didn't go down the path I would have wanted it to (and frustrated that I can't really do anything about it), but I'm more grateful that I'm able to make games like Octogeddon exactly the way I want to now.

A:

He left with around $400k in his account. Through some wise investments, he grew that to over $1 million while still spending lavishing on himself.

Q:

YOU GUYS WERE THE BEST!

Honestly that was so much fun!

I have done a bachelor party! It was Adventure no. 10. The Quest.

Each member of the part was intercepted throughout the week leading up to the big day with a hand delivered envelope with instructions and a riddle. They all arrived and there was a chest with 10 locks on it! Each member had a riddle for one of the locks. Once they got it open, It took them all throughout the town!

A:

I am a Cata lol, thjere are about 2,000 enrolled members

Q:

“Will it grow back?”

Like fuck off Susan your guess is as good as mine

A:

It is leaning on the real story and does not claim to be accurate. It is a big Hollywood movie with a dose of phantasy.

Q:

Whats your favorite load-out in Octogeddon?

A:

What do you think should be done with all that money?

Q:

That's.... Fucking brilliant! Man, how many hours went into that design?

A:

Holy crap this keeps getting weirder. Small world. Good luck to everyone and hopefully ill stop in within the next year or so. Take care!

Q:

What do you do with all the time you save not having to shave or do your hair?

A:

What were the first 24 hours like for you after he was taken?

Q:

I hear about people using 4 queen bees and 4 king cobras, but I'm much more about having 1 of each thing. I'll start with 1 snake, 1 claw, 1 bee, 1 chicken and upgrade each of those along the "tree" as I go through the game

A:

The FEC says you're allowed to do 3 things with the leftover money in your campaign account after you leave office/lose an election: refund it to donors, donate it to charity, or donate it to another political committee.

Q:

it definitely took some time to attach the hasps to the chest and then choose the right locks and then set the passwords and then write out riddles!

but oh oh oh so much fun

A:

Feel free to message me!

Q:

I workout!!!

A:

We lived together with my twin sister, he and I ,and when he wasn't back home after 3 in the morning we were very worried and started looking for him at friends houses, if he had might slept somewhere else.

Q:

Plants vs Zombies is one of the great games. I'm a software engineer, and I've been gaming for decades. From both points of view, I have done nothing but admire PvZ since the day I first booted it up.

My question is: Was the design process for Octogeddon significantly different from PvZ? If so, what were the differences, and what do you think caused them?

I'm so excited your new game is out and I'm going to go buy it as soon as I post this.

P.S. What EA did to PvZ2 was a travesty, and I'm glad you had nothing to do with it.

A:

I apologize for not reading the article first, but I think this might be a common question.

Is it possible that the dead congressman charges were for previous services that just took a while to be paid out because of his death, paperwork, etc?

Q:

Hey we need an update or we will all bring forth pitchforks

EDIT: UPDATE! https://www.reddit.com/r/iama/comments/7vwil5/_/dtw1edy

A:

Are there any books or movies that you think have accurate/informative portrayed of native culture?

Q:

This is an awesome AMA! My question for you is about body hair that serves function. Do you notice yourself being colder than average? Any nasal issues? What about eye problems with the lack of brows and lashes?

You really are a beautiful woman, hair or not. Don't let it get you down!

A:

Did the mob ever do anything else besides kidnap Paul?

Q:

Not solely design, per se, but Octogeddon was the first game I released completely indie, so while I had to wear many hats making PvZ, I had to wear so many more making Octogeddon

They were similar in that early on I had nailed down a prototype for each that I felt was fun, and then it was just a matter of getting that core gameplay to a full fledged game

A:

It's certainly possible, but definitely not true in any of the cases we identified. We didn't consider any campaigns that ended in debt when the politician lost election/retired.

Q:

The update has been there all along, it's buried at the bottom of this thread

A:

To be honest i haven't watched a ton of native american movies (i know its ironic cause i mentioned i do film, and am native) but I just never ended up watching a lot of those movies. However, i do reccomend anything with Wes Studi, he's a fantastic actor and portrays things in a very accurate way.

Q:

Yes, i'm always cold. I'm really sensitive to cold drafts so i'm a big summer weather fan lol. My only nasal issues is that it just comes out...like I can't control it. So working as an EMT and bending over a PT can sometimes get tricky because it's just fallen out of my nose on several occasions. Absolutely mortifying but what can ya do.

A:

To whom? To Paul?

Q:

What inspired you to complete Octogeddon?

A:

so instead of zombie voters we got zombie candidates? in the case of dead candidates, who authorizes the funds transfer and can they be held liable and be prosecuted? also, these accounts, how do they stay open for so long and how come there is no oversight?

Q:

Wait did that post really just lead to a job offer?

A:

Wes Studi is amazing. The last of the Mohicans was the first "serious" movie I remember watching as a kid and even then I was blown away by him.

Q:

does sweat drip into your eyes because you don't have eyebrows?

A:

You whole family.

Q:

If I didn't "complete" making games I wouldn't know what else to live for

A:

As Saxby Chambliss told us, they stay open "because there's money in it". There's no oversight because there legislators don't want there to be. They've killed bills in the past that proposed ways to close the loophole we identified.

Q:

I do hire people for each adventure, but with u/Bonfire0fTheManatees I think he/she would be better served building a customized San Diego Adventure and getting paid every time someone does it.

I would loooooove to chat

A:

Watch Hostiles! Great movie that just came out and he stars in it

Q:

Yah and it’s SO PAINFUL LIKE OH MY GOD

A:

No the did not do anything else. We let Rome after the kidnapping and moved to California.

Q:

What do you think publishers/developers should do to make money post release? Are loot boxes the future?

A:

How much of your reporting comes from open records? Couldn't software help automate a lot of the investigative work?

Q:

Hi! These sound great! Were you able to quit your "day job" and do this as a full time living?

A:

What’s up bro? Fellow Puebloan here from Isleta lol, never thought I’d see a Native on here doing an AMA!

Q:

could you smear some vaseline or something on to provide a channel to route sweat away from your eyes?

A:

Do you miss the relaxed 70th livestyle sometimes?

Q:

I'm a game designer and not a businessman and have no idea how to make money

A:

Yes, it all comes from the FEC API. In fact, I wrote a lot of software to do this reporting. 2 versions of a scraper, 3 versions of a disbursement tagging app, and the interactive database we published online with the story.

Q:

Short answer: Yes. I quit back in october.

Long answer: It's still Dicey. I made a calculated risk. I knew I would dip into savings as I built this. I've also CONSIDERABLY downsized my life/spending. Luckily there isn't very much overhead for the business.

I'm by no means making a killing, but I'm a the cusp of financial sustainability and it's super exciting.

A:

How's it going man? I felt it was necessary as people have a lot of different outlooks on us to this day. Let me know if theres any discrepancies on my part

Q:

Yeah I suppose I could

A:

No I don´t because the important values from that time are still my values today.

Q:

Looking back, is there something you wish you could've added to PvZ 1 but didn't?

A:

You sound like one of the most awesome people ever. Like some sort of nerd vigilante/superhero.

Q:

How did that conversation go with your co-workers, that you were leaving to be a professional scavenger hunt designer?

A:

Do you feel pressured to marry someone with equal or higher blood quantum if you want your children to participate in your traditions?

Q:

Weird question. I'm assuming all of the hair in your nose fell out too. Do you notice a difference? Like coughing more since the hairs aren't there to help block dust and other particles from entering?

A:

The only thing is to cap the damage on AoE effects for gloomshroom and cob cannon so that people couldn't go infinite in Survival mode. (we did this for the torch'd peas, dunno why we didn't apply it to the other AoE/splash damage effects)

Q:

lol you're too kind :)

A:

They were all super supportive. I've been doing this as a side hustle for a while so everyone was aware. Most people tend to be pretty intrigued by the whole thing.

And who doesn't love cheering for someone who is desperately escaping from a soul crushing phone job to follow a dream?

Q:

I'd love to marry a native woman, and of course I want my kids to participate but if I do fall in love with someone that isnt native, it wont be the biggest deal

A:

YES !! My ear hair fell out too. I was in Ireland for awhile and the wind bothered my ears.

Q:

What was your favourite plant from the original pvz? As a kid, I always loved the starfruit dude.

A:

Would it be that difficult for someone like our current POTUS? He can transfer his campaign funds to his charity and throw some events at his golf clubs/hotels/restaurants serving Trump wine and Trump bottled water. I would imagine for someone with enough varied businesses it could be easy.

Q:

I remember reading the reddit santa write-up, very impressive work. I truly hope you become a huge success. Also happy birthday! Have you had a major screw-up yet that ruined the whole thing?

A:

I haven't seen anything in the AMA about the dance itself yet. What can you tell us about the native dance styles and how they vary between the tribes?

Hoop dance is the area that interests me most - I make LED hoops for performers and some of the multi-hoop moves are very much influenced by native hoop dance traditions.

There are very few modern hoop dance performers who do that sort of off-body work with more than about 5 hoops, though, and I've been told that 28 is traditional in native dance.

Obviously LED hoops are not a part of the native traditions, but it'd be fun to see what a skilled practitioner of the traditional dances could do with modern hoops and lighting design chosen to reflect their artistic heritage.

Q:

How often do you have to deal with people pointing out that you have no hair?

A:

Squash (looked cool, name lines up with its purpose) or Tall-nut (when it sheds a single tear)

Q:

No, it would not be difficult for him or any politician to do exactly that.

A:

Hey there!

Thank you so much! I've only had two that didn't go exactly how I was intending:

Adventure no. 11: The Elite. This was a corporate team offsite where halfway through, the party was split into 2 teams and it turned into a race. It was also the first time I'd incorporate a stop at a bar early on. My mistake was it was a little too complex + I threw them a big curveball halfway through + they were drinking. It wasn't disastrous. They all had a great time but I pride myself on days being perfect.

The other one was Adventure no 17: Margarita Madness (Can you see a recurring theme here?) Players moved from Bar to Bar, adding a new addition along the way. Even though everyone knew it would involve a lot of bars, a bunch of them forgot to bring their state IDs and only brought their military IDs. Half the bars didn't let them in. I had to change the course of the entire adventure as it was running. There was a lot of fast rewriting of clues, calling of bars, and wax sealing envelopes in my car.

Long story short, there are always variables, but I've done this long enough to where I can adapt and change things along the way. Knock on wood, no adventure has ever completely derailed.

Q:

The dance starts at sunrise, we come down from a mountain/hill thats nearby ( about a 1/4-1/2 mile away) and proceed to dance our way into the Pueblo. We dance til around 8 am or so, then we take an intermission from 8-9:15. Then we dance until 4 with 1 more intermission in between noon and 4 pm or so.

At 4 pm we do the runaway song, where we dance our final song and a clown/apache shoots a blank gun into the air after the final verse and we run before a woman can catch us. The whole point is to get caught by a girl, where she takes you back to her house after and feeds you after a long day of the dance.

Here's a video of the the dance we perform in from 9-2:30/3:00ish https://youtu.be/9LMGONSg2_0

I could not find the ending however

A:

Every. Single. Day

Q:

Hi, thanks for doing AMA!

What affected you most as a game designer? What helped you in your professional establishment?

A:

Where do the ideas for investigations come from? I feel like this whole thing is something that obviously goes pretty unnoticed, wondering who thought to start looking.

I had a feeling when I picked up this Sunday's paper from my driveway that this story might end up blowing up. Nice job guys, one of the rare times I read start to finish without skipping to the comics.

Q:

This is so cool! How long does it take you to plan a scavenger hunt? Do you have to do a lot of research beforehand?

A:

People talk about cultural appropriation these days. What ar your thoughts on non tribal people liking and wanting to wear clothing inspired by your culture?

Q:

You should act surprised.

"OMG WTF HAPPENED!??!"

A:

I think the single moment it all clicked together was when I realized (at least for me) that designing games wasn't about having the entire game design planned out in your head but rather having a rough idea and then iterating the crap out of it

Q:

Credit goes to Noah for turning us onto this story. He'd been pestering Mark Foley and George LeMieux about their campaign spending for years. Last year, at a conference, we got to talking about how this was a national story and how we could use the FEC's own data to report on it.

A:

I prefer to have AT LEAST 2-3 weeks lead time. Sometimes more (depending on if I need to book something super far in advance.

I like to space out my adventures 2 weeks a part so I can put 14 solid days of focus on to each one. Each day is completely mapped out on a spreadsheet so all my agents are clear on the timing and their roles.

If they have a dinner reservation at 6:00 pm. They'll be there +/- 15 minutes

Q:

It's understandable to a certain extent but I see a lot of people just wearing the native clothing because its cool or trendy but generally (from my experience) the same people are never really interested in diving into the actual culture (the good and the bad) but just do it because its the type of fashion we wear in the SW

A:

So I’ve done this.

I’m an EMT and I had a patient for some reason say “you had hair before we left for the hospital!!!!” ( he was a psych)

So my reply was like “oh yah I rolled the window down and it all fell out “

mind blown 🤯

Q:

Hey George. I have heard that you like boba tea. Have you ever tried boba tea with blueberries instead of boba?

A:

Do you think that sort of funding model has a future in journalism on a larger scale, or is there another adjustment that needs to be made?

Q:

I would like to apply for Ray’s job.

A:

Sengithamu!

I'm from Nanbe (currently in Atlanta) and I'm wondering about your views on the decolonization policies that some pueblos are undertaking- e.g. Changing the Spanish names back to original Tewa (Tiwa/Towa), not saying "pueblo Indian" but rather Tewa, etc. What do you think?

Kuu da

Q:

Ah, EMT... a nice stress-free job (I used to be a paramedic). You definitely need to mess with any new EMTs that come through by making up a ridiculous story about how you lost your hair on the job (preferably doing something routine)!

A:

That sounds ridiculous!

Q:

Honestly, probably not. I think we are in a pretty unique situation being owned by a non-profit and I don't think that's feasible everywhere. I also don't think it is a requirement to do good reporting – tons of great articles are published every year by all kinds of news outlets.

A:

Ray crushed it. He also got paid to drink beer and play arcade games to blend in at the arcade bar while he waited

Q:

My best friend is from Nambe! Do you know the Kaskallas? I love the fact that we went from San Juan Pueblo to Ohkay Owingeh really was a big deal for us because I felt we were now makjing progress and embracing a new era of native american greatness/pride

A:

lmao, I didn't say "SCENE SAFETY, BSI" before a call and this psych came up and shaved all my hair off...so make sure you say that...regardless of your partner...every.time. :D

Q:

What do you think the best way of getting known in the indie game scene is? I'm a striving indie dev myself and I thought I would ask from a well know dev :)

A:

What legally constitutes a 'campaign'? Can a single candidate and a few friends 10 years after the fact still legally be a campaign, or do you need to meet a threshold like non-profits do?

Q:

Do you create different themes or just generic hunts?

Wildest stories of hunts gone bad?

Thanks, and sounds like an awesome service!

A:

Ha yeah the Kaskallas are my second cousins. Im from the Romero/Howkumi branch.

Q:

Is there anything unexpectedly positive you can find about your condition? Like maybe another level of appreciation for satin or silk bedding?

A:

I dunno! I think I'm way less well known in the indie game scene than my games are...

Q:

To be a campaign, all you need to do is file with the FEC. The loophole is that there is nothing in federal election rules that requires you to close down your account after the campaigning ends. These campaigns that are still legally "campaigning" according to the FEC whilst not actually campaigning for an office are what we called zombie campaigns.

A:

Great question!

  1. Everything is completely customized to the person/people on the adventure (as well as the city they're in). That being said, I do have certain plays/gambits I'll recycle because they're just too much fun.

  2. For Adventure no 17: Margarita Madness, Players moved from Bar to Bar, adding a new addition along the way.

Q:

Small world am I right haha

A:

YES! I treated myself to these very nice sheets from wayfair and every night feels like that “freshly shaven legs in freshly washed sheets” and it’s amaaaazing 😍

Q:

Is the pet tutorial level music supposed to be based off "Never gonna give you up"?

A:

Do you think that this loophole is intentionally present for this use, or was it a byproduct of poor forward thinking?

Q:

You should start each adventure telling the group you have only lost 6 or 7 people, during adventures. moment of silence

A:

Do you tend to avoid any vices that have typically hurt native americans like alcohol? Also did your diet growing up include a lot of traditional pueblo dishes and do you continue to make them for yourself?

Q:

Hey! Welcome to the club! Lost all my hair in the ninth grade (I’m a guy), I’m 33 now and never looked back.

Did you try any (are they still trying any/these) treatments? My folks had me try cortisone shots into my scalp, cream that intentionally made my scalp really itchy and something where I would stand it what seemed like an upright tanning booth (this sort of worked for me).

me: https://imgur.com/a/xlhJH

Edit: added photo

A:

Is this a rickroll?

Q:

I think it's intentional. There are bills that have been filed to address this that were killed right away.

Q:

Alcohol is still prominent in the community, and I would like to be able to help my community find other outlets that are positive instead of drinking and gambling. I find it kinda sad that on my reservation, the casino and the liquor store are practically right next to eachother, and are open all week,, whereas the recreational centers never have a set time that they're open. And yes my grandmother made traditional dishes while I was growing up and she still does to this day. My favorite dish is Red Chile stew (potaoes and meat with red chile) and posole mixed together! it's so good!!!

A:

Yes I’ve tried all of the approved treatments with no luck

My first thought when I saw your photo was “hey he looks like me!”

Q:

How do you keep being so fantastic? What's your primordial origin story?

In other news, thanks for keeping at it. I'm glad you're back in indie development, and I look forward to seeing more from All Yes Good. From the number of times I checked out Flying Bear, to the time I spent on insaniquariumguide.com/forum, to the virtual tank screensavers that drove my parents crazy, to the endless enjoyment I took from Plants vs. Zombies, thanks. You're awesome. Octogeddon is amazing.

A:

What are the tax implications of having a "campaign" account? Do campaigns pay taxes on their contributions/expenses?

Q:

Wow- why aren’t military IDs accepted for bars in some states? You would figure they have picture ID, birthdate and full name just as any other ID. Is it because they don’t have some of the same security features?

A:

I’m Laguna Pueblo and whenever I get homesick I make red chile stew! Made it last week, lol. My husband loves it when I’m homesick because I finally cook.

Q:

That's what I thought when I saw your post! This is me, my eyebrows and eyelashes are slowly losing the battle and I need to learn how to draw them back on, I'm not very good so far, any advice? I think you look beautiful.

This season on America's Next Top Model there is a contestant with alopecia who went bald for her makeover (and is crazy gorgeous). Have you seen this? What do you think about it?

A:

Thanks for sticking around through all them years! You rule! :D

Q:

Generally, no I don't think they pay taxes. Some candidates incorporate their committees in which case they are subject to paying taxes on the funds.

A:

It was just certain bars in Pacific Beach. I understand both sides. The party told me that they'd never had this issue. I think it's just when PB gets busy, some bars get strict.

Q:

I have family in Laguna as well! what are your favorite dishes?

A:

This is me

I think her being on the show is great. Any awareness like that is so helpful.

I went down to sephora when thsi was happening and I was like TEACH ME HOW TO DRAW EYEBROWS & I was very clear that I wanted fake eyebrows with imperfections not these fake eyebrows that look like caterpillars.

Q:

I love Insanaquarium and Plants Vs Zombies, but here's my question, as a designer what were some ideas you never used?

A:

What is the best way to contract/shrink the size of campaigns? Would that eliminate the amounts of money at every stage of the process, including this one after the fact?

Q:

Yeah, I managed a bar at a big ten school. During big times like rush week and homecoming we got way more strict on what we allowed. Also, no 21st birthdays on half off nights.

A:

Do you speak a native American language?

Q:

I'll have to brave the mall then. Do you always rock your smooth head? I love the way it feels but I get a little self conscious about my spots. I had a coworker with alopecia who always worried about passing in her wig but I sort of think it would be fun to change my hair with my outfit. Have you done that at all?

A:

Once I wanted to make a Flash boxing game that instructed you to "Slam your fist on your desk to punch!" and the player would do that and go "whoa! how does it know I'm punching???"

(we would detect minute vibrations from their mouse. That's it! The secret's out!!!)

Q:

As far as shrinking the amount of money in campaigns goes, that's not really something we covered in our reporting so I'm not sure I can give you a good answer for the best way to do that.

But congress could put an end to these zombie campaigns by writing legislation that requires a candidate to close down their accounts after the election ends or they retire (with some reasonable time limit to close down) and require that the remaining funds are donated to charities or other political committees.

Q:

Not fluently, but I will get there, I have a great support system that has been helping me out an I will learn it, just need some time.

A:

I have. I like being a red head during the summer and a brunette during the winter.

Q:

Are you and Edmund McMillen friends?

A:

Were you surprised politicians are shady?

Q:

I see you are taking the business model from the movie The Game. Please end an adventure with. A 70 story drop. :)

A:

Are you into Native literature? If so who are your favorite? I a huge fan of Leslie Marmon Silko, Sherman Alexei, and Louise Erdrich.

Q:

I've had alopecia since I was 11. How many different doctors and specialists did you go to before giving up? I think I saw about 20 before I said fuck it.

A:

Hell yeah! I saw him at GDC once and said "cool shirt!" cause he was wearing a shirt with a Magic black mana symbol on it and we became insta-friends from there.

Q:

No, it does not surprise me that congress writes massive loopholes into campaign finance laws and underfunds the commission responsible for oversight of campaign spending.

Q:

I love Sherman Alexie

A:

Yeah I saw probably 8 and then the bills started rolling in and I couldn’t afford it and just gave up

Q:

I am currently in my second year of Game Dev and got one more to go. Any tips you can think of for me to meet people in the industry to try and get my foot in the door?

A:

What was the most random thing you found purchased? Most concerning?

Q:

This is really cool!

Here is a scavenger hunt I made for my local subreddit a few years ago.

What do you think?

Scavenger Hunt https://imgur.com/a/3Oasn

A:

I've listened to Alexie read his own writing, and he vocalizes the "excited" response (ie "oh, wow!") tone EXACTLY as I remember it in Espanola, and San Juan... now Ohkay Owingah... as a kid.

You are a Cata... we're cousins. I don't recognize your picture, but I think it's awesome you're doing an AMA.

My mom and brother will be going down to the pueblo for the dances later this month. I've heard the pueblo has some pretty cool things going on recently. Are you a part of any of it (beyond the traditional)?

Q:

Also... a huge fear of mine is passing this on as a genetic disorder. I have a 1.5yr old girl. Do you have the same stresses?

A:

My first job out of college in the industry, I took a salary that was way lower than what my peers from college were getting just because I got that advice of "needing to get your foot in the door"

When I was first starting out, going to GDC was a great way to meet more people in the industry

Q:

lol this wasn't in our story because his campaign ended in debt so we didn't scrutinize him but Lyndon LaRouche spent tens of thousands dollars from his campaign account publishing the book "Children of Satan III: The Sexual Congress for Cultural Fascism"

A:

dude.....

This is SO FREAKING COOL. I absolutely loved the way to progressed the participants through the hunt. One of the toughest things I have to work around is how to leave something in a public place without having some rando mess with it. Leaving the telephone pole sign was brilliant

Q:

I recently recieved the first scholarship from this company called anew. They focus on bringing in necessities like furniture, fridges, washers and dryers etc to the community to help out the people that cannot necessarily afford them. I would like to use my platform at Anew to do something bigger in terms of giving back to the community

A:

Yes huge fear

Q:

Octogeddon game looks perfect for mobile, are there plans to release it on mobile, or other platforms in the future?

A:

Have there been any eye-catching purchases with these funds? Or any amount spent on something you weren't expecting?

Q:

That sounds fantastic.

A:

What do you like the most about being a Native American and what do you like least about being a Native American?

Q:

Hi do you still have hair inside the nostrils?

A:

No solid plans but I would love to some day

Q:

I posted this in reply to another question but the most random/surprising to me was Lyndon LaRouche who spend tens of thousands of campaign dollars publishing "Children of Satan III: The Sexual Congress for Cultural Fascism".

A:

you're fantastic!

Q:

I've always loved being native american, but when I moved out of state for the first time I truly fell in love with my culture because I then got to see how blessed I am to be apart of the indigenous community. I guess I finally got to see how unique it was and the pride I have will never go away.

What I hate is that people will ask the dumbest and most thoughtless questions, like when I'm at work serving tables I always get a guest or two that ask me if I did a rain dance or they ask me if they can be apart of the Pueblo's dances because they just recently found out they are like 1/16th Native American etc.

A:

Nope!

Q:

Hi George, I'm a big fan.

I also have a lot of respect for the field of game design as a discipline, and I consider you one of the masters.

Do you think "game design" is something which can be taught, or is it something innate? What separates a good game designer from a bad one?

A:

What happens next? Now that the issue has been brought to light, what can your average citizen do about it?

Q:

Lol man.. I get how this is a cool and unique idea, and people with a ton of spare money will probably want to do this.. But that price point pretty much eliminates middle class customers.

A:

...because they just recently found out they are like 1/16th Native American

There's a reason why the Generokee tribe is the fastest growing Native American tribe in all of North America.

Q:

Hello! What are some of the main challenges brought about by your condition and how do you deal with them?

A:

There's certainly a lot that can be taught, and stuff you pick up from experience designing (where you start to develop a "gut instinct" for what works and what doesn't), but I do think some part of it innate. Specifically the sense of knowing what's fun vs. what's not. Because that is just something that is so hard to explain/teach.

Designers that don't have that innate sense can shore it up with a lot more "throwing darts out there and hope one sticks" approach as long as they're good at evaluating afterwards. It's just they might take longer to get there.

Q:

Honestly, this has to be fixed at the legislative level. There are giant loopholes in the rules and the FEC doesn't have to resources to properly vet the more than 20 million transactions they are tasked with a year. So the buck stops at congress who write the rules and also underfund the commission tasked with enforcing the rules. The best way to get change is to tell your congressmen that reform is needed and that they should pay attention to this issue.

A:

Very true. It's something I've grappled with big time.

(between you and me and literally everyone reading this) If i find a player who just absolutely deserves something like this, I make it happen.

You tell me your budget, and I make it work.

Some people truly, honestly absolutely deserve a day they'll never forget

Q:

Generokee haha. Thats the best thing I have heard in awhile

A:

The psychological challenges of Alopecia are worse than the physical challenges. Like I mentioned, this was an adult diagnosis for me so I know what life with hair was like.

I can't walk into a room and feel comfortable. Ever.

I can't let subtle comments "go" I always have to defend myself instead of walking away.

I can't happily look in the mirror ( I know it's dramatic but it's reality)

My diagnosis has been attributed to stress, so I'mc constantly trying to reduce stress which is impossible.

The eyelashes that I buy that are the most natural looking ones are $18/pair and only last for 2 uses. I can certainly get cheaper options but they're a bit too "i'm about to go FSU at the club-like."

Q:

How did you all get in the track of this story? Was it a specific case you were alerted to?

A:

Found this on the website:

HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?

After a free phone/email consultation we send the client a written proposal which breaks down the entire budget and details. We keep pricing very simple.

We have a flat rate and an adventure budget. The flat rate covers the fun. It pays for the weeks leading up as we build the adventure, the long hours spent hand writing or encoding clues, working with business owners, and polishing the adventure.

The adventure budget covers how embellished you want the details to be. Do you want this thing to be on a train? a cruise? a remote vacation spot? Do you want actors involved or would you like it simple?

If you want your target to stop at a shop or restaurant and be greeted at the door and ushered in to shop or eat, we cover the amount beforehand and charge you what was spent at cost. The client pays a deposit to reserve the date and the balance is due after the adventure is over.

We never go over budget and the client is always aware of the total cost.

I feel like if you aren't up front with cost, you aren't going to do very well in the long run. How much is the flat rate? Explanation. The client is aware of total cost? Only if you call us.

Q:

You have to renew your ID card every two year?!

A:

Well I think you look great and you're doing a wicked job of staying positive in what are definitely horrible circumstances. I have nothing but admiration for you (my wife suffers the opposite due to pcos). You are a very brave lady to carry on:

walking into rooms

defending yourself

looking in the mirror

You got this. Keep positive. Kindest wishes from London, UK.

Q:

Noah found a few FL pols who were doing exactly this. They kept dodging him and his questions for years. Last year, around this time, we met up at a conference and started talking about his story idea and how we could pursue it on a national level using the FECs own data.

A:

Hey there!

The problem I've run into is when someone emails me saying "I'd like to buy an adventure, but I don't want to talk until I know the cost"

I give them the cost (usually recommend $3,000 if I am traveling to you) and then I never hear from them again.

But if i have a conversation where i tell you that I'm going to use your best friend's tattoos as the cipher to decode a message that sends you to a mirror maze where you're intercepted and handed another clue all while being tracked via a GPS thats been placed on you to ensure perfection, you might begin to understand why it costs so much.

TL;DR - never lead with your price. Lead with an explanation of what you do.

Q:

every 4 years

A:

You’re so kind. Thank you and good luck to your wife

Q:

Is this practice illegal or is it simply unethical? If it is illegal, which agency is supposed to audit these campaigns and have you reported them?

A:

[deleted]

Q:

How much emphasis is put on becoming financially successful?

A:

What is FSU at the club-like?

Q:

It's a grey area, for sure. The FEC is responsible for auditing these accounts but they have just 34 analysts who had to check 20+ million transaction last year. Some ethics advocacy groups have started filing petitions to the FEC to clarify what is and is not legal spending.

A:

soooooo fun fact...

...

I've never seen it...

I've had people threaten physical harm to me for never seeing it. I'll see it eventually!

Q:

Not emphasis on being successful financially, but to be wealthy in terms of knowledge and wisdom is what is preached.

A:

lol, i'm tired. i'm about to fuck shit up at the club! Those cheap eyelashes are poppin!

Q:

How many post death accounts were still spending? Versus post death that stopped?

A:

What do you do when things go wrong? Not that I'm doubting you're abilities, but do you ever have to change something mid-adventure?

Q:

Where do you stand on the ‘Washington Redskins’ debate? Do you find it offensive and a slur? Have you or anyone you know been called this term in a derogatory way? Thanks for your insight.

A:

Have you tried Asian brand false eyelashes. They’re extremely common in Japan and Korea and girls wear them to normal events and everyday life. So they’re not cheap looking but priced alright

Q:

We found 8 still spending. There's no doubt in my mind that there are more, we just didn't have the man power to go through every single one of the 18,000 registered campaign committees filed with the FEC.

A:

Love this

I carry an "oh shit!" box for every adventure. Inside this box i include things like:

Extra envelopes with the Player's initial written on it Extra Wax A lighter String tape double sided tape hydrophobic spray ruler exacto knife assortment of pens Blue flare lots of paper scissors key locks password locks

Plenty of other things! very rarely, I'll have to call an audible mid day and scrap a location to replace it with another. Most of the time these things just help make the experience more magical (I.e. one of the players mentions he would love rocky road Ice cream. At the next location, there's a cup of ice cream with a wax sealed envelope containing a note that says

"I got chu" -The Architect

Those moments make incredible memories

Q:

I don't find it offensive. It's funny me and my buddy were talking the other day how white liberals are generally the only people offended by it. Me personally, I think that there are bigger things to worry about in the native american community instead of an NFL or MLB teams mascot. I'd like to see alcoholism go away and many other things prioritized first before any if that other stuff

A:

I would have never thought of that!!! Let me check em out!

Q:

What do you think will come of this? Are you getting information to the right people (or are you hoping the public will take this information and wise up?)?

A:

You sounds like a very fun guy hahah

Q:

You're not the only one. I've seen many Native people in New Mexico who aren't offended at all and think the fight is ridiculous.

Personally, as a Laguna/Isleta woman, I do think it's time for the racist mascots to go. They're dated and it's crazy that they've lasted this long.

A:

Those are good eyebrows! You know outside of eyebrows and a wig, that is the only hair that has any value. I know several African American women who wear wigs daily, and they have regular hair they just don't like it. If done well, I can't tell the difference.

Also, you don't need a wig. Shanaid O'Connor. Bald women with large earings is hot.

Q:

The buck stops at congress. Congress writes the loopholes into law and underfunds the agency tasked with enforcement.

Through our reporting we've been in contact with various groups such as CREW, IssueOne, and CLC who are filing petitions with the FEC to better clarify the rules on what is and is not allowed. Ultimately, though, the only way to get change is for voters to make it known that they want reform from their reps and sens.

A:

it's a gift!

Q:

Again I respect your opinion, everyone is certainly entitled to their own, but growing up that's all people have asked me is if i feel offended about Tribal Mascots when there are huger issues that need to be confronted

A:

I went as Sinead OConnor for Halloween last year :p

Q:

Based on my rough accounting of the people listed in your Zombie Campaigns Database, and not looking at their individual behaviors or the amounts spent, it looks like democrats are more likely to do this than republicans.

This observation seems more partisan than I'd like it to be. I don't want this to turn into another Reddit "us" vs. "them" thread, but I found this interesting.

  1. Is that a fair assessment?
  2. Do you feel that one side or the other spent more this way?
  3. Was there a difference in how this money was spent by party?

Edit: Below /u/EliMurray says

there are more than 18,000 campaign committees filed with the FEC so we didn't get to look exhaustively at all of them

This is an important point that invalidates my "analysis" above. Counting the number of Ds or Rs on the list isn't worthwhile, because the list isn't exhaustive.

A:

as someone who also has an "oh shit box" for my line of work, i've taken to calling it the "oh shit kit."

Q:

Is there one specific part of your culture you wish more people knew about ?

A:

Did you bring a picture of the pope?

Q:

I think it's a nonpartisan issue that both parties should want to address. Our database only shows the 102 worst offenders that we found but there are more than 18,000 campaign committees filed with the FEC so we didn't get to look exhaustively at all of them and I'm sure there are many more out there that we haven't reported on yet.

Q:

There's a lot of things I wish people knew about, I can't think of one specifically but there's a reason why I am a film major, I want to be able to show the world what goes on in our daily lives and how we operate on a daily basis. A lot of people think that Pueblo ppl live in Tipi's, etc but that couldnt be further from the truth

A:

Yes and wore a black turtleneck

Q:

Have you created a hunt for Ron Swanson yet?

A:

[deleted]

Q:

Have you ever met someone who expressed a sexual attraction toward your lack of hair? If so, did that make you feel better/worse about your condition?

A:

If I was to create an adventure for Ron, it would be out in the wilderness for 3 days, it would be solitary (He wouldn't want to have leslie tag along) and it would be extremely challenging.

Q:

Christmas!

A:

Nope no one.

Well there’s this one guy at a place I frequent who touches my head every time. He’s seems normal. He jokes about it. Great now all I’m thinking is that he’s fantasizing about My head.

Q:

What's the price range for one of your scavenger hunts? I'm sure it varies based on the individual, but is there a ballpark estimate?

A:

[deleted]

Q:

My brother has a friend who was recently diagnosed with alopecia and she is having a hard time with it. What advice would you give someone who is recently diagnosed? He says she is constantly trying to reduce stress and eating a very strict healthy diet.

A:

Yep! without getting too into the weeds, i usually recommend $3,000 budget but it's worth noting that everything is suuuuuuper flexible. If you have a smaller budget, I can use public places (san diego is chock full: Balboa park, Coronado Island, Beaches everywhere

That being said, if you want a hot air balloon ride or a dinner stop at a 5 star restaurant, I'd recommend having a higher budget!

hope that gives you a good idea!

Q:

Posole for sure!

A:

It’s going to take it’s inevitable course and no one is going to understand what it’s like. You’re literally transforming into a new person.

My advice is to do the things you enjoy.

Q:

That's completely fair. I was impressed at how much you built into the cost such as the tickets or dinner. The clues look pretty solid too. You clearly have a talent.

A:

I noticed in another comment that you are film major (same here!):

  1. Any Native American-centered films or directors you recommend? I'm admittedly quite ignorant on this subject.

  2. Do you have a favorite director/film?

Q:

Do these things still feel good? https://m.imgur.com/gallery/rlyrG

A:

I really appreciate that! The goal is to have people finish an adventure and think "This was MORE than worth the money spent."

Everyone has been happy so far!

Q:

I love the revenant, anything with Wes Studi, and I love Tarantino. We should collab on a project someday!

A:

OH MY GOD I GOT ONE FOR CHRISTMAS! still sooooo goooood 🤤

Q:

Did you know that it's also my birthday? We share the date with Sir Thomas Moore, and Laura Ingalls Wilder. It's a good day.

EDIT: Gold?! Honestly, it was a bit of a rough start to the day, but this is turning it around. Thanks, Architect! I hope you get lots of tasty cake today.

A:

Do older members of your community still hold grudges against whites for what they have done to Native Americans?

Q:

HOW? HOW CAN IT BE GOOD? I am a bald guy that shaves every other day (hate stubble) and those things make me want to pull my head into my rib cage like a turtle. The feeling is way over the top too intense for me lol.

A:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We literally have the best birthday ever. It's just far enough from the holidays, It's after the superb owl (usually) and just before valentines day!

Q:

Not really, if you respect our dances and ceremonies and don't ask stupid non educated questions then we are all good, but you would be surprised how many people try to become part of the culture, etc. Life is all about respect and even though we never fully received it, we are taught to be a bigger person, mentally and emotionally.

A:

oh i get those like full body goosebumps that make my toes curl :p

Q:

Have you done an adventure for someone who obviously didn't want to do it? How did that go?

I am assuming that since a considerable amount of money is involved, the person purchasing it would talk to the receiving party ahead of time. I am picturing a desperate proposal, the kind we see in the movies but without the movie ending.

A:

What does your tribe do to hand down ancestral knowledge, spiritual beliefs, tribal history, etc? Can you share anything that might be meaningful to people?

Thanks for doing the AMA! I grew up in NM and miss the beautiful landscapes.

Q:

What Halloween costumes have you tried? I recommend Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

A:

Yep!

I did an adventure early on for someone's birthday where it became pretty clear that his friends who were acting as agents where WAY more excited about it than he was.

I've done enough to learn that most people would like some kind of special day, but it's important to make sure they get the day they want. I ask a ton of questions early on. some people would rather have a quiet solitary experience exploring their city. Others want to be thrust into a ridiculous world where their friends are all the villains in a battle between good and evil!

regarding the second part, yes. It's a balancing act to ensure that the player in the game isn't completely blindsided by the day but still has the element of surprise. Usually I'll do a teaser envelope dropped off days in advance to get them excited

Q:

Sadly I could get in trouble if I were to tell you that so I will have to decline. But I will let you know that everything is passed down verbally so you wont find any information youre looking for online or in any books

A:

Sinead O'Connor

Q:
  1. When did you decide that this could turn into a business or a full time job (if it is one)?

  2. What steps did you have to take to turn it into a business and was it difficult?

Thanks! And great story. Love it when people provide others with a memorable experience.

A:

Are there any big misconceptions about Native American history and culture that were created by Hollywood?

Q:

I've always aimed to live a life based on making the best from a bad situation.

So with that in mind, here's my question.

Have you ever wanted to grease yourself up, lay a tarpaulin down and slide around the place like an oily sausage? Because if not I think you're not treating your god damn super power with the respect it deserves.

I'm hairy as shit, but not manly enough to pull it off, so I'm a hairy, lanky chap. I can tell you now, not having to shave everything would save me so much money.

I know it must feel shit. I can see why it'd make you feel low so I hope you can see the funny side of this comment.

Fucking wear it with pride. You got dealt this hand. It's YOUR hand. And if you ever do get low again, get one of those knitted dwarf hat beard thingies. That way you can still feel as manly and rugged as you want to.

GLHF!

A:

Howdy!

I'll start with 2 because it leads into 1.

  1. in short, I got super lucky, I had decided build the first adventure for my reddit giftee because he happened to live 21 minutes away from me. While i was working on it, i got excited and told anyone who would listen. I recruited a bunch of friends to help along the way. One of my friends agreed to wake up early and hand deliver the century old suitcase to my giftee. He tagged along through the next location too. Once my giftee and his girlfriend got to the zoo, I knew I had a few hours before their next stop.

I took my friend out to breakfast to thank him. He said. "this is awesome. You're going to make a business out of this. Give me a name, I'll build you a website."

At that moment, I came up with Constructed Adventures. When I met my giftee at the end, I told him about it. When he posted to reddit, he linked the website and everything blew up overnight! As far as the business side. I have business savvy friends who held my and the whole way through the LLC and bank accounts and stuff. Now on to part 1.

  1. I did this as a side hustle for about 2 years while I worked a phone job full time. Basically I would go to work, come home, build an adventure, scout locations one weekend, and run it the next.

rinse and repeat.

Anyway, I moved to San Diego for a new phone job and was MISERABLE. I finally hit a breaking point where I realized I'd rather be poor and doing this than rich talking on the phone all day.

one week before I quit, I got featured at the tail end of the Teach for America Episode of How I built this.

If there is any takeaway from this, it's find something you love, do it as a side hustle, save your money, and take the leap once its big enough.

Q:

A lot of people think we still live in tipis and dont follow current trends, but you'd be surprised to see how many people on the rez have wifi, iphones and HDTV haha. I always show people this clip, because it makes me laugh so much, and it's surprisingly accurate

https://youtu.be/0XLUrW_4ZMs

A:

Oh I love this. I’m going to have to do that this summer!

Q:

I've always wanted to have something set up for my marriage that involves a scavenger hunt! Have you had any couples ask you for this kind of request, maybe at the end there's a ring or it's a birthday party with birthday gifts all throughout the day!!!?

A:

How do you feel about the usage of Indian vs Native vs Native American? Is there something else that's preferable?

Q:

Have you considered getting silly or colorful wigs just for fun? Make them an accessory! Also you must have so many options for1 brows. Any color or shape you want, change it up every day! Glad to see your so positive about this!

A:

My favorite Adventure I've ever done was Adventure no. 9: The Proposal.

TBH. If i could just do marriage proposals, I would. I also help coach soon to be proposers to make sure they haven't forgotten anything!

Q:

I prefer native american but sometimes people say it without realizing it, so I have no problem when it comes to that unless you say it in a derogatory way.

A:

Yes I have a purple one

Q:

I came for a Blacklist comment, and you sir did not disappoint.

A:

How do you feel about efforts to preserve native languages? Do you think there's a point where it's not worth it to try?

Q:

Do you think stress of being a caregiver for your mom is what triggered the illness? I'm in the same role now, and for me symptoms of PTSD are evident

A:

😬

Q:

one of my main goals in life is to use my platform to preserve the languages of tewa and keres for the nearby pueblos. If i can do that it would be my greatest accomplishment.

It is incredibly important to preserve these languages, as most of our stories are passed down verbally and not written in books or posted online

A:

Yeah that’s definitely what triggered. The week after she went into a nursing home I found my first spot.

Q:

Do you Geocache? If so what’s your username?

It’s a similar “sport” or game that involves scavenger hunts. Have you at least heard of it?

A:

How do you feel about a lot of facts of Native American history being taken out of/ changed in textbooks? Specifically Trail of Tears and changing the narrative to essentially say that Native Americans willfully gave up their land.

Thanks for doing the AMA!

Q:

How fast are you? (Low wind resistance)

A:

Honestly I dont... I really should! I did go geocaching with Sunny from the PodCacher podcast. It was so much fun! I've been in talks with them about potentially creating an intricate series of caches around San Diego.

I love the idea of Geocaching. Mine is similar in many was and different in two:

  1. Geocaching is digital. using Gps where mine ends up being a little more wax sealed, cloak and daggars,

  2. every once in a while, you locate where a cache should be, and some jabroni has stolen or ruined it (or it wasn't kept up). With mine, when you're sent to a park to find a statue, there's a 100% chance that there will be an envelope in the hand of the statue because it was place there 30 seconds before you arrived and someone is nearby watching and waiting to ensure you grab it and no one else does!

Q:

That's one of the things/stories I would like to be told from our point of view. A lot of our history has been edited and changed because some people may have realized what was done to us was/is not acceptable. If there were more prominent natives then we could let this be known to plenty of people but right now we need help identifying certain leaders amongst our community that are willing to sacrifice their time and travel to spread the word of our history. I would like to be one of those leaders someday

A:

Lol..

Q:

Scavenger hunts? Treasure chests? Wax seals? Oh my god, can I be you when I grow up?

This is the most elaborate thing I've ever created. I'd be incredibly flattered to know your thoughts on a concept like this.

And if you ever need help on an adventure in Toronto, I'd love to volunteer!

A:

Where in NM and when is this event held? Is it open to the general public? Or is it a private tribal event?

Q:

You look so happy in your picture, and you have a beautiful smile. Thanks for doing the AMA!

You have had such a life changing experience, especially emotionally I guess. How has your outlook on the world changed from before you knew about your mum's diagnosis and now (not least as most people struggle enough with the transition between youth and adulthood at the best of times!)?

A:

ARE YOU SHITTING ME?

Thats the coolest thing I've ever seen! Please email me at [email protected] with the subject "city series"

I have a project that I'm working on and I would like to talk to you about it

Q:

It's in Ohkay Owingeh, NM on Feb 18th, you can stop by as it is open to the general public from 6 am- 4 pm

A:

I was so naive and took everything for granted. It taught my that everything can and will change in a second and you have no control. I try and use that mindset and incorporate it into my daily life but unfortunately I’m drowning in student loan debt and I can’t afford the activities I’d like.

Q:

I recently tried wax sealing some envelopes and completely failed. What’s your process?

A:

Is it fake eyelashes?

Q:

What type of wax did you use? I've tried a bunch of different kinds from amazon and craft stores. I usually go with the stuff they carry at Michaels because I like the consistency more and it drips evenly.

Depending on the size of the stamper, I'll usually make a quarter sized pool of wax, following the edges as it drips. Then I'll press firmly down the the stamp, hold for a few seconds and peel it away from left to right (I don't recommend pulling straight back up).

Also, I've been doing this a long time. The first time i waxed envelopes it was a bit dicey.

A:

yeap, all fake

Q:

How much planing do you do for prep work? Does it take days or months? When you customize your hunt per clientele, do you research city history to make it more entertaining?

A:

Have you considered tattooed eyebrows?

Q:

Hey there!

There is a ton of prep work. i usually need 2-3 weeks! After the initial call I have the client fill out a 2 page survey about whoever the player is in the game.

After that I work with them to come up with something that the player would want! (some adventures are super challenging, some are more serendipitous)

I utilize the strengths of the players and also cool places in their city to create something spectacular.

A:

No! I’m too nervous

Q:

Happy birthday! Do you have any unrealized Hunts that you would just love for someone to hire you for? Also, have you ever seen The Game, and if so, do you think that's something you could see yourself possibly one day expanding into?

PS- You are my hero. I'm so happy this is a thing.

A:

What is your ideal breakfast?

Q:

Hey there!

Absolutely! I have a Business Bucket List of sorts. It's not necessarily a full fledged day, more or less themes. Here's some of them:

-an adventure on a train with multiple stops -an adventure on a cruise -to be interviewed on Elle (a guy can dream) -An adventure that revolves around a mini tape recorder and finding tapes -and adventure that fully utilizes hydrophobic spray and stencils. I tested it out last adventure and it was super fun -An adventure in another country. - a legit buried treasure hunt in the wilderness. -a client with a massive budget

I'm sure there are more!

A:

Bacon and eggs

Q:

Have you ever considered combining a physical scavenger hunt with a digital one using something like ShareTwist.com? Seems like you could maybe expand your business to do scavenger hunts that could apply to huge digital audiences! Optionally, you could enforce location as well for certain clues.

A:

When was the last time you touched your shower drain?

I all seriousness, you look happy and beautiful in the photo above. Would you like a wig? Maybe reddit can support a GoFundMe or something?

Q:

It's definitely something I've given thought to.

Right now I'm super happy doing my thing. I think a lot of people make the mistake to constantly grow. I don't need to make a ton of money. I just need to make experiences.

It will be fun to look into new ideas and possibilities, but at the moment I'm just building adventures.

A:

Well thank you so much, I am happy. But I have my days.

Q:

Not likely, they doesn't usualy invest in service, mostly it's product.

You can easily scale a product with a minimum investment and increase incredibly the profit margins that way. That's what Shark Tank does well. A service doesn't have that advantage, you can scale it with more staff, but usually you will lose quality because it depends on the individual (in this case it's OP) and they aren't all as good as him. You always lose efficiency too with more staff, which again are lost profit.

Shark Tank would be great for PR I guess but his clients clearly require deep pockets, which isn't the same public as Shark Tank.

A:

Have you been able to link up with others with this condition? It would seem like a good idea if you haven’t. Being around folks that have shared your experience is often a wonderful therapy. Also they might give some pointers and tips on how to get insurance to pay for wigs or eyelashes maybe?

Q:

Bingo. Frankly, I've got a great thing going. i do plan on scaling, but very slowly. The magic in this comes from these spectacular days. I'm just not ready to have this be in someone else's hands.

A:

I have and it’s just like meeting another person. I’ve never felt any relief from meeting others with this condition.

Q:

What your personal favourite scavenger hunt you have created for someone?

A:

I know it doesn't help anything until you believe it too but you really are a beautiful woman.

My question is, do you find yourself dwelling on old photos of yourself from when you had hair?

I know it's not the same thing but I'm a balding man and I miss my hair so much. I had shoulder length, beautiful, thick hair when I was younger and it was glorious. I look at old photos all the time and try to relive those days haha.

I hope you find peace with your situation soon and recognize your natural beauty. You also seem like a very funny/fun person from your responses. Beautiful and funny is a lethal combo.

Q:

Adventure no. 8: The Treasure Hunter will always have a special place in my heart mostly because the Players were fantastic and hilarious.

I also absolutely loved doing Adventure no. 21: 50/50 split. It was this fun company retreat where they raced around coronado island
